John just filled a gaping hole in the MSDN documentation for hiding custom SharePoint actions. I’ve been looking for a HideCustomActions-based way to hide the Create button that lets you create a site, so that I can replace it with my own process. Now it looks like I have the Action ID that I need. Will test this soon as I get a chance.
