I did a presentation to the Chicago Developers SharePoint Users Group earlier this year where I walked through using the Telerik ASP.NET AJAX RadGrid Control to create a SharePoint 2013 web part for CRUD operations on business data. I was reworking that presentation for SharePoint Fest, which was part of telling the story of how the team I was on created the new www.rrts.com using SharePoint 2013. During a review of my revised presentation, a coworker (John Head) gave me feedback that made me realize that for this broader audience, I needed to tell a different story, and that the technical details of using the RadGrid were off topic. So I removed it from my presentation about building a public facing website, and made it into its own deck, which is now up on SlideShare.
